Due to his severe self criticism and fear of failure, he did not publish many of his poems. However, one of his poems that he did publish became one of the most prominent in the Graveyard School. In fact, it is still one of the most quoted poems in the English language. It is entitled “Elegy Written in a Country Churchyardâ€.
